Bayesian life test planning for the Weibull distribution with given shape parameter

This paper describes Bayesian methods for life test planning with Type II censored data from a Weibull distribution, when the Weibull shape parameter is given. We use conjugate prior distributions and criteria based on estimating a quantile of interest of the lifetime distribution. One criterion is based on a precision factor for a credibility interval for a distribution quantile and the other is based on the length of the credibility interval. We provide simple closed form expressions for the relationship between the needed number of failures and the precision criteria. Examples are used to illustrate the results.Received: October 2002 / Revised: March 2004     

Exploring career commitment and turnover intention of high-tech personnel: a socio-cognitive perspective

Abstract

Drawing upon social cognitive theory, this study presents psychosocial functioning in which personal factors and social influences jointly influence career commitment as a mediator and then turnover intention as an outcome among high-tech personnel. Based on a two-wave survey of working professionals in high-tech industry, this study’s empirical results find that passion, social support, and perceived self-centered leadership indirectly relate to turnover intention through the full mediation of career commitment. At the same time, the effects of job self-efficacy and social support on career commitment are moderated respectively by passion. Finally, managerial implications and research limitations are discussed.

基于数据融合的自来水浊度检测方法

为了提高流动电流仪(SCM)对自来水浊度检测的精度,文章提出了一种基于神经网络数据融合技术的数据处理方法。该方法可以消除测量中的原水流量、供电电源波动、絮凝剂浓度、温度等干扰量对流动电流仪的影响,提高了测量的精度。     

团队合作中的利益分配机制及其调整过程探讨

本文主要探讨团队合作这种新兴工作机制的利益分配机制,首先提出了两种方法:其一,权的最小平方法,建立在专家评分基础之上,具有一定的主观性;其二,在合作博弈框架之上运用Shapley定理确定分配方案,具有较好的客观性、公正性。本文后一部分主要讨论在使用Shapley定理确定分配方案之后的团队博弈,即一旦团队由合作博弈进入非合作博弈后,团队利益分配是如何进行调整的,以及调整过程中博弈双方的策略变化和这种调整产生的内在机理。

先介绍了企业关系的演变和发展 ,概述了供应链/价值链产生和发展的背景、供应链/价值链研究的发展。然后从哲学的角度深入分析供应链/价值链之间的关系和区别 ,首次得出“供应链是价值链的一种表现形式 ,两者是内容和形式的哲学关系”的结论。弄清两者的关系 ,对供应链/价值链的研究和应用有很大的现实指导意义。价值链管理应注重宏观、战略、定性等方面的研究和应用 ,而供应链管理则应更加注重微观操作、运行管理、定量等方面的研究和应用。     

Economists' Opinions of Economists' Work

A bstract .   Economists' credibility has been waning in recent years. Critics usually cite the profession's preoccupation with abstract reasoning and its focus on seemingly irrelevant topics that hold little interest for individuals outside the discipline. While economic science has enormous potential for improving living standards, the profession's adverse reputation is indicative of a discipline seemingly void of any social contribution. This article presents the results of a recently conducted survey of professional economists. The survey was undertaken to ascertain economists' opinions of their own professional work, including the progress of economic research, its usefulness for society, and factors that determine the publication of that research.     

多哈回合农业谈判对我国农产品贸易政策的影响

我国是一个农业大国，农业部门有其特殊性和重要性，多哈回合农业谈判一直倍受关注。多哈回合核心部分是农业框架协议，我国应在国内支持、出口竞争、市场准入等方面给予高度关注。对此，我国农产品贸易政策必须进行重要调整，即从高价格、高关税和非关锐手段的保护向适应WTO规则的保护转变。从直接干预向间接干预转变。     

高校国有资产管理存在的问题及对策

近年来,随着我国高等教育事业的蓬勃发展,高校国有资产无论是数量上、结构上还是使用上都发生了相当大的变化.高校中传统的财产物资管理体制、管理制度已不适应新形势的发展,高校国有资产管理存在的各种问题暴露出来.本文通过对我省部分高校国有资产管理的调研分析,提出了改善高校国有资产管理的对策,其目的就是为了更好地管好用好资产,使其保值增值,防止流失,杜绝浪费,提高使用效益,确保教学、科研的顺利进行.     

Perceived conduct and professional ethics among marketing faculty

This paper describes the results of a mail survey to the educator membership of the American Marketing Association. Data were collected regarding beliefs about both the frequency of occurrence and severity of 59 ethical issues facing marketing faculty. The research questions examined include: What unethical practices are believed to most commonly occur? What practices are most severe? How do these beliefs vary by faculty rank and size and type of school? Implications for both the improvement of marketing education and for future research are provided.
